CRECO Trust is a network of civil society organizations that belong to the broad human rights, governance and democracy category of NGOs and was founded in 1998. CRECO’s membership comprises of 25 CSOs united in the vision of a just society and is drawn from both urban and rural-based NGOs working in the 8 regions of Kenya. The composition of the membership is multi-sectoral, with organizations that deal with such sectors as the youth, women, workers, and pastoralist communities in Northern Kenya, ethnic minorities in Rift Valley, Coastal communities, urban and rural squatters and people With disability among others.
